STARS DANCE CLASS
Our STARS program focuses on providing an outlet for students interested in learning the art of dance. This once-a-week jazz and ballet combination class offers dancers the opportunity to develop self-esteem while building a solid foundation in basic dance skills—all in a challenging, positive environment.
Our STARS dancers have the opportunity to perform two times a year at Christmas, and the June Year-End Recital. We invite all our STAR dancers to add a hip hop or tumbling class to their schedules.
Attire – Girls: Pink convertible tights, pink ballet shoes, STARS Uniform*, hair must be pulled into a bun. *$45 uniform fee due with September tuition. Boys: white shirt and black bottoms, black socks or ballet shoes.
MEGASTARS | TURNING 9 AND 10 THIS SCHOOL YEAR (SEPT 1, 2023-AUG 31, 2024)
HIP HOP CLASS | 1 HR CLASS
Our hip hop classes are super athletic, super upbeat and super fun! FOR BOYS AND GIRLS!
Students will build strength and coordination while learning the latest hip hop moves.
Dancers will perform twice a year (Christmas and June Recital) and are invited to add a STARS or tumbling class to their schedules.
Attire: Street clothes only. Clean tennis shoes. Hair must be pulled back.
3rd & 4th grade Hip Hop | TURNING 9 AND 10 THIS SCHOOL YEAR (SEPT 1, 2023-AUG 31, 2024)
TUMBLING CLASS & ACRO | 60 MIN CLASS
Expressions Dance's Tumbling/Acrobatic Arts program is a professional curriculum designed to promote excellence in flexibility, strength, balance, limbering, tumbling, and partner/group stunting. This 12-level program will help dancers learn the necessary exercises and skills to technically master tumbling skills that are commonly used in dance, such as: aerials, back handsprings, aerial walkovers and layouts. Dancers will simultaneously gain the grace, flexibility, balance, and strength to seamlessly, beautifully, and safely perform all skills on a stage or hard floor—away from Acro/Tumbling mats.
Attire: Tank top or leotard, black dance shorts. Hair must be pulled into a ponytail or bun.
