Congratulations! Being on Excel means:

  • You will attend classes 2 days per week.

  • You will compete in 2 group routines at 4 competitions (3 local and 1 in St. George).

  • You will have 2-4 additional performance opportunities throughout the year.

  • You will attend Summer Intensive July 10-13.

  • You will learn choreography during Boot Camp August 7-12.

  • You will attend at least two Summer Technique Tuesday classes (June 27, July 18, 25, August 1, 15, 22).

  • You are invited to attend 1 convention in September and 1 in Feb/March.

  • You will attend Winter Dance Challenge January 20 at the studio.

  • You will perform in the Company Showcase and Recital in June.

SUMMER INTENSIVE SCHEDULE: July 10-13

  • Monday-Wednesday, July 10-12, 12-3pm @ Centerville (jazz, ballet, tumbling)

TEAM FITTING: July 11

Dancers will be fitted for all first of year attire during summer intensive. One parent is required to attend and size for all dancewear orders.

Choreography will be taught during boot camp and it is imperative that we have good attendance. Teams will be working with our staff and guest teachers on learning routines for the season.

FIRST OF YEAR MEETING: Monday, August 28

A parent of every dancer is required to attend this meeting on Zoom. We will be reviewing company handbooks, calendars, and going over the year’s expectations/requirements for our company families. This is a mandatory company meeting that will ensure we are able to have a successful year together!

FALL SCHEDULE: Begins Tuesday, September, 5

  • Mondays, 4:00-6:45pm @ Centerville

    • Classes: jazz, tap, tumbling & ballet

    • Need to wear/bring: team leotard, pink tights, hair in bun, athletic pants/leggings, ballet, jazz & tap shoes

  • Fridays, 2:30-5:15pm @ Bountiful

    • Classes: jazz, tap, tumbling, hip hop

    • Need to wear/bring: black leotard, pink tights, hair in bun, tap & jazz shoes, athletic pants/leggings, sneakers

  • Any extra rehearsals: team leotard, hair in a secure ponytail or bun, correct shoes for the routine

Optional Add-On Classes:

  • Wednesday, 4-4:45pm @ Bountiful (jazz)

    • What to wear: any color leotard, jazz shoes, hair in bun, pink tights

  • July 1:

    • $30: Membership fee

    • $135: Summer Intensive (July 10-13)

    • $200: Company Dancer Kit for 2023-24 (team leo, fall performance gear, etc)

  • August 1:

    • $72: Summer Technique Tuesdays (at least 2: June 27, July 18, 25, Aug 1, 15, 22)

    • First of Year Order:

      • Company Jacket: $110 (new students)

      • Team Bag: $70 (new students)

      • Competition Makeup and Earrings: $70-80

  • September 1-May 1:

    • $189.75 Monthly Tuition (due Sept-May)

    • $98: Monthly Team Fees (10 payments, due Sept-June)

      • The Team Fee covers two costumes, competition fees for two routines at four competitions, Winter Dance Challenge, Company Critique, end of year showcase & recital, team fees. 

      • The Monthly Company Team Fees do not cover tuition, membership fee, summer intensive, Summer Boot Camp, team gear, team warmups, team bag, makeup, earrings, shoes and tights needed for competition.

    June 1, 2024:

    • $98: Final Monthly Team Fee Payment (10 payments, due Sept-June)

    • Contingency Credit ($100 deposit, any remaining balance is credited back)

Optional Add-On Conventions

  • EPIC Convention, Sept 22 & 23 in Layton: $245 due August 15, strongly recommended additional convention for Performing Company

  • Adrenaline, Feb 15-17 in Provo: $220 (ages 5-7), $310 (ages 8+) added to yearly team fee total, strongly recommended additional convention for Performing Company

Other: 

  • Shoes and Tights for Performances: not included in program fees – Due either October 1st or November 1st after choreography and costuming is set. This could include jazz shoes, character shoes, hip hop shoes ($60-$95), etc.

  • Action Shots (optional): $50-$150 in April/May

      • Choreography Boot Camp classes (August 28-Sept 1)

      • Fall classes (starting September 5)

    • Check out and process a payment for:

      • Discounted registration/membership fee ($30 per dancer or $50 per family)

    • July tuition & Company Kit ($200) will be processed on July 1.
